was one of the most harrowing months investors had seen in a few
years. The market bucked and writhed within a 135-pt (S&P-500) range
intra-month, before closing very close to the level at which it began the
month. While
the volatility was gruesome for most, it also presented a number of
excellent trading opportunities for the nimble-footed trader. Our
short stock picks and options picks lists had a large number of big
winners during the month.
